Commercial SummerInternship Program Overview

Citizens Commercial Banking hosts approximately 25 interns, each year, throughout the foot print of the Commercial Bank. The program provides interns with access to project based learning, classroom curriculum, networking and mentorship. The Commercial Banking Internship Program is a 10-week exposure to Commercial Banking. The internships are temporary and will last 10 weeks (May 29 - August 3, 2018). We accept students from all majors, who express an interest in learning more about Commercial Banking. At the end of the internship program, high performers will have an opportunity to interview for the CommercialBanker Development Program (CBDP). Job Responsibilities:

Commercial Risk Management, along with Business Line management, is accountable for identifying, assessing, managing, and controlling the risks associated with the products and services they provide, regardless of where the function supporting that product or service is performed.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Assistwith the testing of controls to determine if business processes are operatingas intended

  • Assistwith documenting control processes, data collection to support various regulatoryexams and Sharepoint updates

  • Reportformatting and distribution

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Enrollmentand demonstrated academic achievement in an undergraduate degree program with agraduation date of December 2018 or May 2019

  • MinimumGPA of 3.5 preferred

  • Allmajors considered

  • Demonstratedleadership in a club, volunteer or sports

  • Initiativetaker who can handle multiple priorities

  • Excellentinterpersonal and verbal/written communication skills

  • Stronganalytical skills

  • Detail-oriented

  • Strongproject management and organizational skills

  • Teamplayer who can work closely with others to complete projects under tightdeadlines

  • Softwareskills: Solid MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
