Position at Commercial Construction North America
As the Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Intern for ITW Commercial Construction North America you will work with a cross-functional team in process improvement activities. You will help map out process, collect data, and make recommendations for improvement or change.

Work with members from different areas of operations to develop a process flow map for Welding, Assembly, and Diamond Dowels that yields the following:
Identifies Bottlenecks in the process
Capacity of the equipment in the process
Level loading of work load among equipment and personnel
Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering degree.
Proficiency in Microsoft office.
Basic CAD modeling ad experience with Solidworks a plus.
Good Communication skills both written and oral
Must be Hands On
Expected Intern Learning:
Identify constraints within a process
Working in and leading a team
Exposure to fastener manufacturing equipment: Welding, Assembly, Saw cutting, Fabrication, Plasma cutting
