What will you do?
The Service Delivery Operations (SDO) Intern position is a highly customized internship which integrates you directly into HCSC’s everyday life and will give you an idea of what it is like to be a full-time employee. The position will give you deep insight into member services, claims and claims processing. During your time with us you might get involved in large enterprise wide projects or putting new enhancements into production and managing change in a complex environment. This position is responsible for assisting the Program Team to ensure project deliverables and other work is produced timely and in alignment with our Program Strategy. You will be working in a matrix project environment on one of the largest and most complex inflight initiatives at HCSC. We expect you to be an actively engaged member among a highly integrated project team. Internship areas may include the following:
Quality Assessment and Process Improvement
Workforce, Strategy, and Planning
Member Services (Member/Provider/Retail)
What Are Your Responsibilities?
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supporting analysis to assist in making strategic program decision
Assisting in ongoing maintenance of the project schedule and development of weekly status reports
Developing and maintaining relationships with project team members to obtain project objectives
Updating project documentation

Previous internship experience preferred
What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, STEM, or related field
Graduation date between December 2018 – June 2019
A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (at this time, we are not offering this program under OPT or CPT or sponsoring work visas for these roles).
