Summer Analytics Internship
You are part of a global team. Fast paced, with ever expanding new ways of delivering important content and analytics to our readers.
This position will have substantial responsibilities of research in elements affecting Natural Gas and Power markets.
What’s in it for you:
Develop real world knowledge of skills used to analyze energy markets. Opportunity to work with and participate in thought leading analysis. Understanding and driving ground up approach to markets analysis.
Will be trained on the analytics data structure, workflow and processes
Work closely with analysts with market research including identifying data, data input and analysis
Research, track and maintain data for industry projects
Communicate findings, including investigating and responding to market-related questions associated with topic
What We’re Looking For:
US Work Authorization required
Rising Senior (current junior) from an accredited university or college is required
All majors welcome; economics, business, finance, mathematics, engineering and any energy related disciplines
Fully matriculated students maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
Skilled in locating, collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating information and drawing logical conclusions
Detail oriented and organized
Persistent with a natural curiosity about energy market fundamentals
Strong communication (good verbal, listening techniques, and a clear, concise writing style)
Able to learn quickly, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Understand importance of building strong relationships and partnering with team members
Significant comfort level with suite of Microsoft Office products (Work, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel) SQL experience is useful
