The position will work with design engineers to perform optical measurements of components and sub-assemblies. There may also be a need to develop software to automate the measurements using Lab Windows for C.
Perform optical measurements such as insertion loss and back reflection
Develop test set automation software using Lab Windows for C
Provide analysis of measurement data and work with suppliers to understand device performance
The candidate should have a Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Optics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Knowledge of optical measurement techniques
Experience with optical test equipment such as power meters and spectrum analyzers
Programming experience with Lab Windows for C or Lab View
