TE Connectivity Design Intern in EATONTOWN, New Jersey

The position will work with design engineers to perform optical measurements of components and sub-assemblies. There may also be a need to develop software to automate the measurements using Lab Windows for C.


  • Perform optical measurements such as insertion loss and back reflection

  • Develop test set automation software using Lab Windows for C

  • Provide analysis of measurement data and work with suppliers to understand device performance


  • The candidate should have a Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Optics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

  • Knowledge of optical measurement techniques

  • Experience with optical test equipment such as power meters and spectrum analyzers

  • Programming experience with Lab Windows for C or Lab View
