VMware Sales Intern- Latin America in Miami, Florida

The Sales Intern will be able to lean activities aligned with Sales and Channels team in VMware. The primary role is to support the sales team in the assigned market territory working with channels team. The focus is aimed at sales opportunities and accounts and is achieved by collaborating with partners to support on the identification, development, acceleration, up-selling and close transactions. Overall Job Activities

  • Understand the program, have clarity of the activities to be develop and commit with it

  • Present a monthly report with the activities executed to the manager

  • Commit with the calendar of activities, as well with the time that needed to be respected

  • Define a development plan with manager and mentor support and participate of the learning classes defined

  • Try to apply the skills developed in the university in the daily actions, as well the skills discussed in the trainings

  • Be open to share with the manager fears and concerns about the internship, the department, the company and the future. Trust that the manger welcomed the internship program and has the best intentions

  • Be a receptive and active listener, understanding that constructive feedback is an essential element to continuous professional growth

  • Currently pursuing a BS/BA in Business, Sales, or equivalent

  • Capable of tackling challenging positions early in the career and show that they can adapt well to different work situations

  • Enthusiastic with plenty of initiative and people that can bring an impressive ability to connect with others within the company

  • Analytical mindset, that can make a plan, take action and measure the results

  • Can dedicate part-time to the program – 30 hours a week

  • Proficient in Spanish and English

  • Office Package Proficiency (Advanced Level Required)

  • Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills, organized and proven attention to detail;

  • Real passion for competition and the ability to craft great working relationships with all internal and external customers

  • Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility

  • Interest in developing a career in an IT company
