Purpose and Objective of the Position
The Channel Business Operations intern will work closely with the Global Platform COO and her direct team providing support for critical projects related to the on-going operational support of the business and providing analysis as needed for specific topics. He/She will be responsible for reporting findings and recommendations in written/presentation form to the COO. Additionally, the intern will participate in cross-organization meetings to assist with defining action items, following up on these action items and other tasks related to project management. Day to day direction provided by Platform COO and Platform Chief of Staff.
Expectations and Tasks
Working with the extended team to gather, package and move relevant content to the Platform team’s internal JAM site
Responsible for tracking sales of channel products through the SAP App Center to ensure proper financial reporting to the region and rep level which then flows into the commissions systems
Ad hoc reporting as needed by the Global Channels organization
Assist teams with development and ongoing maintenance of team jam sites
Assist with compilation of cross-organizational presentations
Assist with editing, formatting and layout of executive presentations
Provide ad hoc project management and OEM process improvement support
Skills / Competencies
- Excel and Powerpoint proficiency preferred
- Current student enrolled in a Bachelor, or Master degree
