Our internship program spans several markets across the country. As a U.S. Bank intern, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with senior executives, get paired with a formal mentor and attend fun events specifically tailored for interns, including a Volunteer Day where you’ll give back to the community. In your day-to-day work, you’ll learn how employees collaborate to serve all our stakeholders. Internship Responsibilities:

  • Assess technology needs for U.S. Bank to determine where improvements can be made

  • Assist in handling needs assessment and cost/benefit analysis to align the technology of the company with business strategy

  • Work in group and individual environments to expand skills with hands-on assignments or projects addressing business problems

  • Aid in selection and monitoring of investment products for the Approved List

  • Learn more about security selection and portfolio management

  • Gain the ability to manage projects and multiple assignments

  • Learn waterfall and agile project methodologies

  • Gather, refine and document requirements of a project

  • Participate in senior-level discussions concerning platform decisions

  • Understand and discover the basics of analytical applications such as Morningstar Direct, FactSet content management platforms, TeamSite, EIR, and AEM

  • Conduct research of competitive landscape working with internal partners to obtain requirements, determine potential solutions, create probable design elements, and create recommendations that inform private client group strategy
