If so, Premier, Inc. is looking for a self-starting Software Engineer Intern that can drive work to completion in a team orientated and innovative environment. You will be required to work in a collaborative environment designed to help you push your skills, challenge your strengths and reach your fullest potential. You'll also build mentoring relationships, have access to senior leadership and gain exposure across the company. You'll work on high-value projects to help shape the future of healthcare. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to further your experience in areas like application and database development, BIG Data Analytics, Mobile Apps, Automation and Security. This is an opportunity for a junior programmer to learn the Agile development methodology in a high-energy environment, building applications from end to end. During our twelve week internship, students become a contributing member of the team working on meaningful projects that provide an opportunity to build their resume and have measurable success on key deliverables. Each student is paired with a Supervisor and Mentor to guide their professional development through the summer. In addition to exposure within their team, students will have ongoing lunch and learns, community and social events to learn more about Premier, the healthcare industry and Premier communities. Familiar with object oriented programming (OOP) and all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Formal training or hands on experience in the following technical skills may be required: Java, Javascript, C#, C++, Java, SQL (MySQL). To qualify you must currently pursuing a Bachelor's or a Master's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Management Information or a related field. This role has potential for conversion into a full-time position upon successful completion of the internship and graduation. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
