This candidate will assist the Finance Division on day-to-day activities in support of purchasing related functions. At a high level, this individual would be responsible for placing purchase orders, data analysis, reporting, and other ad-hoc projects.
Assist Procurement staff with purchase orders
Perform data analysis on potential purchases
Maintain/create custom reports as needed
Facilitating issuing Purchase Orders to vendors
Coordinating delivery of purchases as needed
Updating information in CME ERP tool
Finalizing and execution of Purchase Contract
Spend analyze and Cost breakdown
Variety of ad-hoc purchasing related projects
Currently pursuing a BA/BS Degree in Business related field
Supply Chain MGMT, Purchasing, or related field preferred but not mandatory
3.25 Minimum GPA required
Local to Chicago
Skills / Software Requirements:
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook included) Required
Strong Excel skills
Jira and/or Workday experience preferred
Strong Communication Skills
Motivated Self Starter with a Desire to Learn
Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
Demonstrate analytical skills and business skills
