Job Description

At our office in The Netherlands, home to around 80 employees, we offer a welcoming and collegial atmosphere where ethics and integrity are highly valued. You will notice the creative and innovative drive of our people, which has formed the basis of our success throughout the years. 12 month placements are currently available in IT, Human Resources, Supply Chain & Logistics, Global Procurement, and Finance Licensing starting in July 2018. Human Resources Intern As the HR Intern here at the Amstelveen Office you will be joining an incredibly fast-paced and dynamic team. Over a period of 12 months you will have the opportunity to gain experience in many different aspects of HR, working alongside the HR Business Partner and HR Coordinator to complete a variety of tasks. You will also get first-hand experience in organizing and managing a range of projects and events. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking care of HR administrative tasks including:
  • Creating contractual documents
  • Responding to office employee enquires
  • Manage analysis and tracking of sickness and vacation days
  • Confidential Employee Data management
  • Assisting HR Team in planning and delivering office and philanthropic events including helping in training events
  • Supporting fellow interns throughout their placement year
  • Play an active role in the Onboarding Program for New Employees
  • Organise the onboarding process throughout
  • Be the point of contact for new employees
  • Coordinate individual induction programmes for all newcomers
  • Be involved in Recruitment, mainly through managing Intern Recruitment, but also including:
  • Assist in creating and posting job descriptions and adverts
  • Organising the administration of the process
  • Assist in online searching , selecting and interviewing potential candidates
  • Be the project leader for events throughout the year #LI-AE1

Experience, Education & Skills

What we are looking for: This placement is undertaken in the third year of a four-year course and you will need to apply in your second year. Candidates ideally will be studying a Business related degree with a keen interest in Human Resources, predicted a minimum of 2:1. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive team player, who is flexible and eager to learn new things. You must have excellent time management, organization skills, and be a great communicator both in writing and verbally, with a solutions-oriented mindset. Candidates should be computer literate and confident in spoken and written English.
