The Corporate Communications team in NYC is seeking someone interested in pursuing in a career in public relations to join us as a summer intern, bringing your new and creative ideas to the table. This is an opportunity for someone with an interest in corporate communications and PR. One minute you could be handling incoming calls regarding press releases, monitoring a breaking new story and the next managing the WSJ social media campaigns.
What we need from you?
You must be in either your second or third year of university studying a relevant degree discipline
Demonstrable corporate public relations experience and/or graphic and Web publishing skills
Previous relevant internship or part-time work experience is a plus
Proactive nature with a real "can do" attitude and ability to adapt in a fast changing environment
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Competence with the MS Office suite, particularly Excel
Web publishing, design, and video editing experience
Excellent communication, organizational and follow-up skills with a strong attention to detail
