We take action and achieve results.An internship opportunity is available with our Political Engagement Department to assist with ABA’s extensive advocacy efforts.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day activities of ABA’s State Association Alliance, BankPAC, Fund for Economic Growth, and Grassroots efforts.

  • Help with scheduling and coordination of meetings.

  • Assistance with drafting and distributing communications.

  • Database maintenance and utilization of technology.

  • Conduct research as appropriate.

  • Tracking and monitoring grassroots campaigns.

  • Monitoring 2018 congressional elections.

  • Other duties as assigned.Duration/Hours: June 2018 – August 2018 Pay rate is $20.00/hour Full-time; 37.5 hours per weekAll applicants must be available to interview on January 11, 2018Applications Due by November 17th, 2017

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

  • Interest in politics, advocacy or association management

  • Experience working on the Hill is a plusMinimum Education:

  • Junior/senior standing or Graduate student with a degree focus in Political Science or related field.

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
