This opportunity is designed to be both educational and practical, with an opportunity for exposure to all the functional areas withinHR. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the support and coordination of ABA’s internal learning management system

  • Assist with supporting new hire orientation and onboarding processes

  • Provide support to the Chief Human Resources Officer

  • Assist with various employment activities within all functional areas of the department

  • Work on HR related initiatives in flight at time of employmentDuration/Hours: June 2018 – August 2018 Pay rate is $20.00/hour Full-time; 37.5 hours per weekAll applicants must be available to interview on January 11, 2018Applications Due by November 17th, 2017

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office

  • Creative thinker that looks for new and innovative ways to accomplish goals

  • Interest in learning about the HR function of a large nonprofit organizationMinimum Education:

  • Junior/senior standing or Graduate student with a degree focus in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or related field.

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
