GENERAL SUMMARY: Manage the execution of messaging cadence across all social channels: Facebook Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat

Schedule: Part time 20 hours a week, August-November. Can be done remotely.


  • Conduct regular monitoring across social channels to identify and respond to applicant issues / questions

  • Create and implement new social channels

  • Assist with weekly analytics and reporting to leadership, making recommendations to increase efficiency and enhance the brand

  • Participate in strategic planning and development of comprehensive marketing campaigns

  • Keep up with all industry trends and developments, making recommendations for new channels and tactics that Gap Inc. should pursue

  • Create new ads & creative to post on social media sites

  • Partner with key functions (e.g., Training, Operations, Talent Acquisition) to execute cross-functional campaigns Requirements

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS: Interact with all levels of the leadership team, business partners and peers.


1) Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office-Word, PowerPoint, Access and / or other software / database skills.

  • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong analytical skills

2) Minimum educational level:

  • Must be a college student, junior or senior status preferred

  • Availability to work part-time August-November

3) Minimum experience:

  • Marketing major, plus experience or interest in social media preferred

  • Active online (browsing, shopping, social media) presence
