Minimum Qualifications

Requirements for Appointment at Each Level: For Teacher 2: New York State provisional/initial/conditional initial certification in the appropriate specialty. For Teacher 3: New York State permanent/professional certification in the appropriate specialty. For Teacher 4: New York State permanent/professional certification in the appropriate specialty and two years of post-certification (provisional/initial/conditional initial or permanent/professional) teaching experience in the appropriate specialty**. ## Duties Description

• Instruct a course(s) recognized by the New York State Education

• Department.

• Prepare or modify curriculum and course outlines.

• Prepare daily or weekly lesson plans and conduct a schedule of formal instruction for residents of an Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) facility.
