JOB SUMMARY : Assist the Park-wide Paint Director in the daily tasks of organization, preparing for presentations, tracking and organizing color boards, creating, tracking and organizing samples, build orders and other design documents. May include a small amount of actual color design work or hands on paint work.
In-taking files from color board vendor on the organization.
Converting files received in PSD, to pdfs and jpegs.
Uploading and sharing documents.
Checking for errors and updates.
Distribution of all project related documentation for both executive review and for use by both inter-departmental partners and third party vendors.
Maintaining spreadsheets, updating, organize documents and maintaining color prints.
Assist in writing up scope of work documents and assembling documents for sourcing color and paint work. (Including International Projects.)
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution.
Current class standing of Sophomore or above.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. (Official transcripts available upon request.)
Preferred majors include: Art, Paint Design, Theater, Fine Arts, Themed Entertainment Design.
Well versed in digital palettes in Photoshop.
Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of Photoshop, Digital Photography, Blue Beam, Illustrator, Sketch up and AutoCAD helpful but not required.
Theatrical or film/TV background is preferred.
Interest in theme parks or theme park design.
Production Assistant background preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Superior written & verbal communication skills.
Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
Prior internship experience is preferred.
Availability requirement typically includes 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday (may include weekends).
