Our Global Marketing and Communication (GMAC) team is seeking an innovative and technology solutions driven Next Gen Intern for the 2018-2019 school year! This intern will focus on supporting the Event Planning team by working on projects related to client event analytics and technology.

  • Create and maintain new event campaigns within our client relationship management (CRM) system in collaboration with the Global Business Analytics team in order to track ROI.

  • Manage the ROI analysis and event summaries using post-event metrics to determine impact as well as capture best practices of meetings, sponsorships and conferences.

  • Collaborate with the event team to streamline the event app process and use onsite meeting technology to plan and capture meaningful data with polling and survey questions.

  • Partner with our outside app vendor manage conference metrics including booth traffic, breakout attendance and engagement with electronic materials.

  • Create a streamlined process for the management of extensive monthly American Express charges and make recommendations for improvement to reconciliation process

  • Potential for client-facing work

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Technology or Business

  • College Junior or Senior

This program is designed to provide a rich opportunity for students who are interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the financial services industry and contribute while working on special projects. This Internship will run three consecutive semesters (Summer, Fall, and Spring), full-time during the Summer and part-time during the Fall and Spring semesters, and students will connect with fellow interns, and the Legg Mason community.
