Our three-month internship assignments provide compensation based on area of study and class standing, and have the students embedded in key functional areas of our business, getting real-world experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals.- Provides IT support to customers - Answers customer questions and resolves issues. Refers other issues/questions to appropriate personnel/service area/manager for follow up, testing and troubleshooting- Assists in instructing customers in the operation and maintenance of systems/equipment - Acts as a liaison with customers on technical matters for assigned projects- Performs analyses and prepares reports on system problem trends and issues- Interacts with the IT service/software provider, as necessary, to gather information, changes, requirements, etc. to support end users - Assists in basic technical programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs - Logs and tracks inquiries using a problem management database and maintains history records and related problem documentation - Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes customer problems and complaints to ensure that inquiries are resolved appropriately - Interfaces with end users to resolve moderately complex problems concerning system functions reported through a problem ticket. Assesses diagnostic information and determines alternatives. May recommend process changes - Performs install, move, add, and change (ICMS) activities based upon prescribed procedures and processes. Diagnoses problems, initiates scripts or loads patches to implement the activity. Escalates unresolved issues or problems and may provide alternative courses of action - Provides technical services in support of project work; works with project teams to implement defined technical activities, such as distributing new personal computers or developing new software, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures- Maintains currency regarding routine technological, product, process and/or other advances, specifically in line of service, to ensure team performance and achieve team objectives - Supports documentation maintenance; updates information and changes as directedPosition Requirements:- Candidate must currently be attending an accredited university or college by ACE - American Council on Education- Candidates must successfully pass standard pre-employment screens, background check, and must provide an original transcript from their school before their first day of employment- Candidate must be a US person as identified by ITAR- Must have attained at least a Sophomore status based on the university/college's class standing requirements at start of internship.- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 is preferred- Candidates must be at least 18 years old- Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)- Students must be able to complete a minimum of a full time, 3-month assignment- Windows 7 Windows 10-Oracle eBusiness Release 12 a plus-Generalized routing/switching knowledgebr
