About Northstar New Jersey Lottery Group

Our summer intern will be exposed to all facets of Marketing including advertising, promotions, social media, research, operations, interactive and retail/sales. In addition to some administrative duties, the marketing intern will work most closely with advertising, social media and promotions to support all stages of our summer and fall campaigns. Creative ideas and insightful contributions are welcome to develop, expand and support our marketing strategies and channels. Candidates should possess energy, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Specific job tasks may include but are not limited to -
Assist in marketing promotional activities (e.g. social media, event research and planning, sweepstakes and contest support).
Participate in advertising campaign lifecycle including agency briefing, creative development, campaign execution and post campaign analysis.
Assist with social media content including quizzes and videos.
Prepare marketing presentations.
Manage and update internal database(s) and customer relationship management systems (CRM).
Provide Marketing Research support that may include
Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing field surveys
Prepare/review surveys pre and post launch
Provide Game Changers’(research community) support
Perform market analysis and research on competition.
Assist accounting with invoices- printing, sorting, securing signature approvals.
Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
Understanding of different marketing techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university as a marketing major and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
