The objective of the internship/Co-Op project is to:

The objective of the internship/Co-Op project is to automate, simplify, decrease TAT and increase the accuracy of Industrial Engineering Capacity Processes. Value stream mapping and other lean techniques will be used to identify areas of improvement although some of these areas will include know bottlenecks such as database route directory, detailed route compare with options, and automated database audit functionality.

The intern/Co-Op will work directly with:

The intern/Co-Op will work directly with the existing skilled Industrial Engineering team and interact with many other departments. Also, an individual from the Industrial Engineering team will be assigned as a mentor to work closely the intern/Co-op.

The intern will have the opportunity to:

The intern/Co-Op will have the opportunity to apply their Industrial Engineering, programming and macro skills to real work manufacturing data systems. The intern/Co-Op will also have the opportunity to learn about a leading-edge semiconductor wafer manufacturing facility.

The assignment would involve getting exposure to:

The assignment would involve getting exposure to leading edge foundry processes, tooling, and data systems. The intern/Co-Op will also be exposed to multi-cultural teams made up of individuals from all over the world.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS Student enrolled in an accredited program in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related fields

  • Basic proficiency and experience with MS Office Excel, including Pivot Tables, Macros, and VBA

  • Excellent academic standing

  • Strong written and oral communications skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Self-motivated; able to take ownership of assignments, develop work plans and proactively seek feedback to ensure objectives are aligned and met

  • Team player; able to succeed in a dynamic, fast paced environment / / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert level knowledge and experience with software/programming languages (i.e. Macros, VBA, C, C , Perl, Python, Java, etc.)

  • Semiconductor Process Technology courses / experience

  • Capacity Planning courses / experience
